Stop and smell the flowers. There is wisdom behind that adage. All too often we are engrossed with our relentless to-do lists and don’t take a moment to slow down. If all we are doing is racing to the finish line then how can we possibly find rest for our weary souls?
This devotion piece is short. It doesn’t need to be long. It’s meant to be a simple reminder to SLOW DOWN, enjoy the moments that surround you in whatever journey you may find yourself on. The finish line will always be there. That to-do list will always be there.
So, why not slow down and catch your breath.
Pause.
Breathe.
Stop and smell the flowers.
