Psalm 112:8a -My Synomatic Version

My heart is steady, established, upheld, strong, maintained, assured and set firm.

I shall not be afraid.

I shall not fear.

I will not be shaken.

I have taken up writing out one verse a day. I like to then look up the verse in various translations, seeing the different words used and then reading the verse with all of them. (It’s almost as if I unintentionally have created a translation.) I have been doing this for a couple weeks now. This morning it was placed on my heart to share these. I pray it speaks loudly to you through the synonyms used in the verse.

I also found myself making these much more personal – more reminders to myself. That is why I have replaced words with “I”, “My” or “Me”. It is my written version of self-preaching. A prayer, if you will.

Please note: The translations taken from vary day to day, so I am not going to list specific ones. Besides that, many of them use the same synonym as another. Just know the words are from different translations and sometimes even a thesaurus.
