RADIATING HOPE

The only visible star’s brightness was hard to miss. It peered through the cloudy night, competing with the illumination of the moon, briefly seen behind an overpowering cloud. Seeing this shining star against the dark sky reminded me of John 1:5:

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

For me, this star, glimmering alone, gave me hope. No matter how dark the world seems, how bleak our circumstances, there is a glow – a radiating hope. We have a God who will never leave us or forsake us – a living promise.

By  His grace and mercy, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we too can shine bright.
