BREATH OF LIFE

Collapsing underneath the weight of despair,

He offers life for her dry bones.

Shattered pieces fall under fragility-

Broken and lifeless,

He holds her.

His exhale fills her lungs.

She inhales the Breath of Life,

and breathes again.
