MICROFICTION: Starlight

She held the twilight in her palm. Starlight danced throughout her body, penetrating her soul. She found herself lost in the wonder of it all. She inhaled deeply, holding in the world’s enchantment. She felt it stir within her lungs. With one long and slow exhale, she let the magic fly.

The magic hovered slightly above her for just a moment, then lifted its wing and flew to the heavens. The stars embraced its essence.

She stood quiet and still, letting the moonlight bathe her before diving into the sea.
